Costa Blanca South covers the area between Alicante and the surrounding areas of Torrevieja. The World Health Organisation recognises the Costa Blanca climate as one of the best in the world, with winter months having almost as many sunny days as summer months. There are over 100kms of sandy beaches many of which have European Blue Flag and safe bathing certification.
The area has two nearby airports, Alicante in the north and Murcia in the south, and with a flight time of little more than two hours from UK airports, this wonderful area is almost as close as a UK holiday destination for most people.

The famous Villamartin Plaza is less than 20 minutes away with many top class restaurants, excellent live entertainment and even English fish & chips! Those looking for sightseeing, sporting or tourist activities in the Costa Blanca will be spoilt for choice. You can pick from theme parks and nature reserves, enchanting caves and waterfalls to explore during your holiday.
Golf courses and watersports fill the coastline, along with a wide range of excursions. Every day, there is a street market open somewhere in Costa Blanca South Torrevieja has a weekly market every Friday morning with over 1000 stalls. Almoradi market opens every Saturday morning in the plaza and surrounding streets. Playa Flamenca has a large market also open every Saturday morning. Campo de Guardamar market is on every Sunday with over 400 stalls, known locally as “The Lemon Tree” Below is a list of the Costa Blanca South markets.
